Arctis Haven

Delivery Information

2.1 Delivery area

Arctis Haven supplies bathroom products and tiles within supported UK delivery areas. Availability, carrier method, surcharge and delivery timing can depend upon postcode, product type, dimensions, weight and access.

If we cannot fulfil an order to the supplied address on the terms displayed at checkout, we will contact you before proceeding where required.

2.2 Delivery charges

The following is Arctis Haven's standard website delivery policy.

Standard delivery

  • Standard-product subtotal below £499: £12.95 standard delivery.
  • Standard-product subtotal of £499 or more: free standard delivery.

Bulky delivery

Qualifying large bathroom products, such as baths, shower enclosures, shower trays and larger bathroom furniture, may require bulky delivery. Delivery classes may reflect a product's size, weight, fragility or need for specialist handling.

  • Bulky-product subtotal below £750: £59.99 bulky delivery.
  • Bulky-product subtotal of £750 or more: free bulky delivery.

Tile delivery

Tiles are treated as a separate delivery class because they may require palletised or specialist freight.

  • Tile subtotal below £750: £49.99 tile delivery.
  • Tile subtotal of £750 or more: free tile delivery.

Whole-order free delivery

Where the total merchandise subtotal across the complete order is £1,200 or more, all delivery is free across the order.

Mixed orders

For mixed orders below £1,200:

  • where standard and bulky products are ordered together, only the applicable bulky delivery charge applies to the non-tile portion; the £12.95 standard delivery charge is not added;
  • bulky and tile delivery are calculated independently, so both charges may apply; and
  • standard and tile delivery are calculated independently, so both charges may apply.

Different portions of an order may arrive separately. Bulky products and tiles may use separate carriers or specialist freight services.

The merchandise thresholds above exclude delivery charges themselves.

Any exceptional postcode, access or specialist-delivery charge that must lawfully be disclosed before purchase will be shown or agreed before the customer is bound by it.

2.3 Separate deliveries

Products in the same order may be dispatched separately and may arrive through different carriers or distribution points. A split delivery does not by itself mean that an item is missing.

Where practical, order communications will identify the expected delivery arrangement.

2.4 Delivery dates

Any delivery date or time window is an estimate unless expressly agreed as binding.

Do not book installers, remove existing bathroom facilities or commence dependent works solely on the basis of an estimated delivery date. We recommend waiting until all required goods have arrived and have been inspected.

2.5 Large, heavy and palletised goods

Tiles, baths, shower trays, furniture and other large or heavy goods may require pallet or specialist delivery.

Unless a different service is expressly offered and purchased, customers should not assume that palletised or heavy-goods delivery includes:

  • carrying goods upstairs;
  • carrying goods into a particular room;
  • unpacking;
  • removing packaging;
  • installation; or
  • removal of old products.

The exact handover point may depend on safe vehicle access and the carrier's service conditions.

You must ensure that an appropriate person is available to receive and safely move goods from the delivery point where necessary.

2.6 Access

Before ordering, tell us about any material delivery restriction including:

  • narrow or restricted roads;
  • low bridges or height restrictions;
  • vehicle weight restrictions;
  • controlled or limited parking;
  • stairs or lifts;
  • gated developments;
  • construction-site restrictions;
  • long carrying distances; or
  • any other condition that could prevent the proposed vehicle or carrier from safely completing delivery.

Additional costs arising from a failed delivery or undisclosed access restriction may be charged where reasonable and legally permitted.

2.7 Receiving your order

Check the number of packages and the apparent external condition at delivery where reasonably possible.

If packaging is visibly damaged, note this with the carrier where the delivery process allows.

Inspect the goods promptly after delivery. Visible damage, shortage or incorrect goods should preferably be reported within 24 hours to hello@arctishaven.com, with photographs.

This prompt reporting requirement assists investigation and does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2.8 Do not install before inspection

Do not install or alter a product before checking it.

In particular, do not cut, drill, plumb in, electrically connect, permanently fix, seal or lay goods where an obvious defect, incorrect item or transit damage has been identified.

For tiles, inspect product, quantity, shade, calibre, finish and visible condition before laying.

2.9 Failed delivery and redelivery

If delivery cannot be completed because the supplied address is incorrect, required access was not disclosed, or nobody is available where attendance was reasonably required, reasonable carrier, storage or redelivery charges may be payable before another delivery is arranged.

2.10 Risk and safe handling

Risk passes in accordance with applicable law. Once goods have been delivered into the customer's possession or that of a person identified by the customer to receive them, the customer is responsible for reasonable care, storage and handling, subject to applicable legal rights concerning the condition of the goods at delivery.
